Denton Hall
Denton Hall is set in 540 acres of tranquil Co Durham countryside
providing the perfect base for Michael Dods to train thoroughbred
racehorses. The horses are exercised on a 5 furlong all
weather woodchip and a 6 furlong all weather sand gallop - both up hill all of
the way - along with a 7 furlong grass gallop. Michael last year
installed a new, roofed, horse walker capable of exercising 5 horses at a time.
The yard has its own fleet of horse boxes ensuring all of the
racehorses are transported to the racecourse in the best and most
cost effective manner. The horses drinking water comes from Denton
Hall's own natural spring. Prospective owners are always welcome to
view the facilities and watch the horses exercise on the gallops.
