Michael trains from Denton Hall stables which are situated at Denton in the peaceful and picturesque County Durham countryside. The stables are situated close to ten racecourses minimizing costs and travelling times.

Michael has trained over 500 winners and is one of the North's leading trainers.
Denton Hall operates from three yards all close to each other housing around 70 horses split between 2 & 3 year olds and a number of older horses. The yard has two horse walkers as well as three gallops woodchip, all weather sand and grass, the latter two over a distance of 6 furlongs.
Michael trains for individual owners, partnerships and runs Denton Hall Racing a syndicate for group ownership.
The stable will again be sponsored in 2011 by Stobart Sport.
