[SOLD] Starman X Toronado Queen Yearling (Starman x Toronado Queen)
2-Y-O Bay Colt
This is a cracking colt by Starman who has had an unbelievable first season. In his first season he has already produced 4 group winners including Venetian Sun who won the Sumbe Prix Morny Group 1 in France. Starman was an impressive sprinter himself, winning the Duke of York Stakes at York and the July Cup at Newmarket. He was actually unraced as a 2 year old, but that doesn't seem to have stopped his progeny as he is on a 37% strike rate of winners and they aren’t stopping. So we were delighted when the hammer got knocked down and we could bring this flashy colt home.
He has an impressive pedigree as his dam, Toronado Queen, also won 3 races in her career and won over 27 thousand pounds in prize money. Further down the page, the 2nd dam is also a full sister to Queen of Poland who won the Star Stakes Class A Listed Race at Sandown and was rated 111, she has also produced 3 winners from 6 runners. There are winners all over in his pedigree and he will be an exciting horse to follow next year.
