Come and see behind the scenes during National Racehorse Week

MICHAEL Dods Racing is taking part in National Racehorse Week by opening up the Denton Hall yard to visitors on Monday September 12.
National Racehorse Week takes place between September 10 and 18, with training yards, studs and equine aftercare centres opening their doors to give the public an insight into the sport.
Michael Dods Racing took part in the initiative last year and is again open to the public from 10am on September 12. People will get to see the yard and watch vets, physios, and farriers at work, as well as horses on the treadmill and in the spa. There will also be the chance to watch the horses cantering on the beautiful Denton Hall gallops, and the chance to meet staff. Refreshments will be provided.
Michael said: "National Racehorse Week is a really important initiative aimed at giving the public a better understanding of the sport, and showing how well looked after racehorses are. We are very happy to play our part and look forward to welcoming visitors."
Numbers are limited so those wishing to take part in the visit must book a place by emailing the yard at dods@michaeldodsracing.co.uk or register at www.nationalracehorseweek.uk.
