Michael Dods crowned Thirsk's leading trainer for 2022

Michael Dods has been confirmed as Thirsk's leading trainer for 2022 following a double at the North Yorkshire track's final meeting of the year.
The Denton Hall handler struck with Deputy and First Greyed in the last two races.
That means 12 of his 40 winners so far this season have come at Thirsk. Paul Mulrennan, who rode First Greyed, is Thirsk's top jockey of the year.
Michael said: "We always love bringing our horses to Thirsk and it's nice to get the top trainer title. Congratulations also to Paul."
